While flipping through my February 2011 issue of Vogue magazine last night and fell in love with the spread entitled “Gangs of New York”, in particular Rodarte’s layout.
The blue and white printed fabric is reminiscent of the finest Chinoiserie wallpaper or Chinese porcelain.

Closet Case

Lanvin, Lanvin, Lanvin=L’amour pur.
I’m in love with Lanvin’s spring 2011 campaign shot by Steven Meisel; if not for the clothes definitely for the interior decor.
The lush velvets, the exotic animal prints, the gold/brass accents on side tables, ottomans and chairs.

Birkin Bag?
A reusable tote bag with a screen print of an Hermes Birkin,for which there is a three month wait list. Why would I want to purchase this?
All it would be is a constant reminder that I am NOT on the three year long waiting list for an actual Birkin and won’t be anytime soon.

NYC Blizzard 2010
Exactly one week ago NYC was covered under a blanket of snow.
These shots were taken at the very begining of the storm.
It was 1:45 pm, Sunday December 26, 2010. I was waiting for the 4 train at 161st Street-Yankee Stadium.
The Blizzard snow fall amounted to 22 inches in the Bronx in less than 24 hours.
It was quite and desolate as the snow fell; it was beautiful.
